C.R. Laurence BP5S Silver Metallic 5″ x 5″ Square Base Plate offers a robust solution for securing railings with style and durability. Designed for use with 2-3/8″ (60 mm) square aluminum posts, this base plate is perfect for various standard railings. The silver metallic finish not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also ensures longevity, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The BP5S is crafted from high-quality aluminum and measures 5 inches by 5 inches with a thickness of 3/8 inch, providing a solid foundation for your installations. Its unique offset design allows vertical posts to be attached to one side of the base plate, optimizing space and functionality. Installation is straightforward, as the base plate screws into vertical post raceways and can be easily anchored to the substrate using concrete anchors or lag bolts. Each unit comes with a moisture barrier gasket (Cat. No. BPG1BL), ensuring enhanced protection against the elements. Additionally, users can achieve a polished look by pairing the base plate with stainless steel washers (WSHR1) and color match bolt cover buttons (BTN1). With seven standard colors available, the BP5S is versatile enough to complement any design scheme.

CRL Standard Square Base Plates screw into Vertical Post raceways. They are countersunk to accept four Cat. No. BPS112 Base Plate Screws, then attached to the substrate with our Concrete Anchors or Lag Bolts. Use Stainless Steel Washers (WSHR1) and Color Match Bolt Cover Buttons (BTN1) to add a finished look. The BP05 Offset Base Plate design allows vertical posts to attach to one side of the Base Plate. One each Moisture Barrier Gasket Cat. No. BPG1BL is included with each Base Plate.
