C.R. Laurence BP05BRZ Bronze 5″ x 5″ Offset Base Plate is designed for versatility and durability in architectural applications. Available in several attractive colors, this base plate accommodates both standard and 45-degree posts, making it an ideal choice for a variety of railing systems. It is specifically engineered for use with 2-3/8″ (60 mm) square aluminum posts, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. The BP05 features a unique offset design, allowing vertical posts to attach seamlessly to one side of the base plate. Installation is straightforward, as it screws into vertical post raceways and is countersunk to accept four Cat. No. BPS112 Base Plate Screws. For enhanced stability, attach to the substrate using concrete anchors or lag bolts. To complete the look, consider using stainless steel washers (WSHR1) and color match bolt cover buttons (BTN1).Each base plate comes with a moisture barrier gasket (Cat. CRL Standard Square Base Plates screw into Vertical Post raceways. They are countersunk to accept four Cat. No. BPS112 Base Plate Screws, then attached to the substrate with our Concrete Anchors or Lag Bolts. Use Stainless Steel Washers (WSHR1) and Color Match Bolt Cover Buttons (BTN1) to add a finished look. The BP05 Offset Base Plate design allows vertical posts to attach to one side of the Base Plate. One each Moisture Barrier Gasket Cat. No. BPG1BL is included with each Base Plate.
