C.R. Laurence TS2300 Digital Tin Side Detector offers an innovative solution for identifying the tin side of float glass without the hassle of ultraviolet bulbs. This advanced meter employs digital technology, allowing users to easily determine which side of the glass contains the tin. Simply position the device against the glass surface and press the button. The easy-to-read meter display will clearly indicate whether the tin side is on the tested surface or the opposite side. With its rugged design, the TS2300 is not only portable but also energy-efficient, operating on a single 9V DC battery. This eliminates the need for periodic UV bulb replacements, streamlining your workflow. However, it’s important to note that the TS2300 is not suitable for use on glass with other coatings or on tempered glass, as surface distortions can affect accuracy. Incorporate the C.R. - Identifies the Tin Side of Float Glass
The CRL Digital Tin Side detector determines the tin side of float glass without the use of an ultraviolet bulb. There are several advantages to using digital technology to determine the tin side, such as being able to use this meter on either side of the glass. Just position up to the glass surface and depress the button, the large display clearly states if the meter is on the tin side, or if the tin is on the opposite side. With this new technology, the user no longer has to interpret the reflection of the UV light to make a subjective guess as to which surface is the tin side. There is no need to replace UV bulbs with this new Digital Meter, and the digital technology makes this meter very rugged, portable, and more energy efficient than other models. Operates on one 9V DC Battery.
Product Warning:
The TS2300 can NOT be used to identify the tin side if there have been other coatings applied to the glass surface. The TS2300 can NOT be used to test tempered glass, as the distortion (roller-wave) in the surface can impact the accuracy of the results.
