As the edges of the drill wear down, fresh diamond in the flutes continues to maintain cutting action, ensuring consistent results with every use. To maximize the lifespan of the drill and prevent overheating, it is crucial to submerge it in CRL Diamond Tool Coolant Solution during operations. For safety, always wear appropriate protective gear, including eye protection, and conduct work on a stable, horizontal surface. Additionally, a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) must be utilized when using electric tools with water or coolant. The shank diameter measures 0.078 inches (1.98 mm), and the drill’s flat tip design is ideal for a variety of projects.

CRL Plated Diamond Flat-Tip Drills are to be used in hand-held Dremel®, Foredom or small precision drill presses. Diamond is plated on flexible music wire. Tripple-Ripple™ Drills have twice the life and cutting rate of our Flat-Tip Drills. The Tripple-Ripple™ Diamond Drill has three flutes to allow cuttings to flush away, and decrease frontal contact and drag. As the edges wear, fresh diamond in the flutes maintain the cutting action.
NOTE: Always submerge in CRL Diamond Tool Coolant Solution to prevent overheating and prolong tool life.
